Hello Cassie! It was so great meeting you and discussing how to create a special look! I’ve summarized the process below and linked products and options for you. Let me know if you have more questions or if I missed anything!

Brow: We used your brow pencil which totally works. Remember to start filling in at the tail first, to avoid too heavy of a brow. I also used a clear gel on your brows. I really like the one I used on you specifically, and I think it’s a great deal. The NYX Brow Glue. They also make this product in shades, if you want to try that in the future. A little goes a long way! If you want a brow pencil, my favorite is also from NYX.

Primer: We used the Too Faced Hangover Rx Replenishing Primer on you. However, this is a more affordable option The Skin Quench by Milani.

Foundation: The one that we used of yours was totally fine. I think using the sponges is going to be a game changer for you, in how you apply the product! I really like this one, if you want to purchase a new one; The Maybelline Super Stay Skin Tint. I would guess you’re somewhere around the shades 112 or 118, but honestly, this is a very sheer product, so you don’t have to hit a perfect match for it to still work for you. I would hold up a couple bottles at the store to your neck to try to find a good shade. My favorite sponges to apply foundation with are the Paw Paw ones from Amazon. Just don’t forget to get them wet and squeeze all the water out, before using. They should grow in size and feel much fluffier!

Concealer: I used the Tarte Shape tape on you (shade 22N should work well), and applied it first with either a finger or brush to get the product on, then blended out with the same sponge as above. Remember, focus on small layers just where the discoloration actually is, and if you can avoid putting to much near any fine lines, that will help you not emphasize them. Here is another great concealer that I love that is more affordable, by Maybelline.

Powder: Again, we used your personal powder on you; The Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Finish powder, shade Fair 1. This one is great for you, but when you run out and if you want to repurchase something cheaper, I personally like this powder from Maybelline and like how it performs at a better price! Just remember, kind of like with the concealer, start with a small amount of product and build up. You can always add more!

Bronzer: We used the Hoola Bronzer from Benefit Cosmetics on you in the shade Original (Medium), since you already own this one. Remember, we used this in the hollows of your cheeks, around your jawline, forehead, hairline, etc; wherever the sun might naturally kiss your cheeks. You don’t want to just contour and not put it anywhere else on the face, or else it will look fake. We also used this to gently create some dimension in the outer crease of your eyelids, in a very subtle way. We also used a little bit smudged in the outer 2/3 of your bottom lash line to give you some definition instead of eyeliner.

Blush: We used your blush which I think was great for you! It is affordable, so natural looking, not too pink and can be used on your eyes as well as a lid color.

Highlighter: I used the MAC Soft N Gentle Highlighter on you but truly this one is just as great. We added this with a soft brush to your cheekbones where it was smoothest. We also added a touch in the inner corner to brighten up your eyes up a bit. I put some on the center of your lid with my ring finger to create a little more dimension in your eyes and make them appear larger and brighter. Lastly, we added the residual bit left over onto the edge of your cupid’s bow to emphasize. Remember, highlighter should only create a textural difference, not necessarily add color (i.e. more noticeable when you move in the light).

Eyes Primer: I used the Mac Paint pot in Soft Ochre to conceal and prime your eyelids. This way, the products we add for dimension, show up a little more true to themselves. However, a concealer can do just as great of a job, if you don’t want to buy another product.

Setting Spray: I used the Morphe setting spray to hold everything in place for the duration of your day, but also to bring a more skin like appearance back to the skin. Reduce the “Makeup” look. I really love this one for not only the product, but the way it continuously applies when you press the button.

Lashes: I used the L’Oreal Voluminous waterproof edition on your eyes, but the regular option is great too! I also used the Naked 420 lashes on you so that we could create that subtle but of volume on just the outer corner. This is the glue that I recommend. Remember to use only a little bit and let it dry for about 30-60 seconds before trying to add it to your lashes. I find it easiest to use my fingers, but some people prefer tweezers! The order I do lashes is 1. Mascara 2. False lash 3. Once everything is dried completely, curl the lashes with an eyelash curler.

Other Tips to Remember:

  • Try applying your foundation or primers, right after you finish your skincare.

  • Practice these tips and new products at night, when you are about to wash your face, so you can remove the pressure of it looking good!

  • Double cleansing is always important when you’re wearing makeup. You don’t have to use two different products for it. You just want to make sure you are doing a cleanse to remove the makeup first, and then a second one to actually clean the skin.
