Techniques

The most basic skincare routine for both morning and night:

  • Cleanse - Cleanse once in the AM but double cleanse at night. One cleanse to remove makeup and one to actually cleanse the skin.

  • Tone - Most important but often skipped step; balances the pH of your skin so that your skin isn’t inflamed and irritated later; also helps all following products to absorb better.

  • Moisturize - Skin can be dry (lacking oil), normal (balanced), or oily (excessive oil), but all need to be moisturizing. The correct moisturizer for you should have the correct amount of oil based on your skin type. All skin types can be dehydrated and need water (hydration);

Additional if wanting to work more effectively: Add eye cream and serums for your targeted skincare concerns.
